Where - A little taverna on a hidden beach on my favourite greek island Paxos. Barefoot, dancing into the evening with my husband our children Scarlet & Blue & some of our closest friends.
I’d probably choose champagne or a cold glass of vinho verde with my main course.
I adore melt-in-your-mouth burrata with piles of fresh tomatoes, heaps of basil & the best olive oil in the world.
My husband makes an incredible crab linguine with the freshest ingredients, in the summer it's our favourite thing to eat outside in the garden on one of those perfect summer days with the light stretching out into the evening, kids running wild in the garden.
I adore lemon sorbet when it’s freshly made and served in the lemon, they take me back to my childhood. We always hunt these out on holiday for the kids, they used to be in every beach restaurant but are surprisingly hard to find these days. We once sailed to an island called Ustica off the North coast of Sicily and stumbled across a little shack on the top of this volcanic island where we were encouraged to pick oranges and lemons from the trees in the town square and the owner made them into little sorbets for us to come back and eat the following day. I'm always taken back to this place when I eat one.
