Chelsea In Bloom wins Gold!

A Secret Garden of magical whimsy...
It was a wonderful end to May with the Chelsea Flower Show and Chelsea In Bloom - London was buzzing with flowers, bees and the collective excitement of Spring at long last!

Willow's inspiration for ‘The Secret Garden’, her interpretation of this year's Chelsea in Bloom theme ‘Flowers on Film’ at the Monica Vinader flagship store in Chelsea was a labour of love made even sweeter for her team by winning gold from the panel of judges.

Drawing inspiration from the English children’s classic, The Secret Garden, for this year's theme, Flowers on Film; Willow and her team created a magical mossy, vibrant and overgrown garden featuring English wildflowers, ferns, ancient stone columns, mossy tree stumps and a handwoven willow fence and arch created by J Davey Willow especially for the installation, overflowing with flowers. Inside the store, the magic continued with creeping foliage, growing gardens and masses of cow parsley and sweet peas.

Willow says, "Thank you to Monica Vinader and your wondrous team for this incredible opportunity. We've been working on the design for The Secret Garden for four months and I want to say a huge thank you to my incredible team for making it come to life. Jay Davey Willow for the design and creation of your incredible woven willow fence and archway; Ali Shrimpton, Rosie Amory and Kate Corbett-Winder for your endless advice, scheming, digging and foraging; and to the dream team of florists - Rachael Barker, Nancy's London, Camille Lambert, Rosie Belben, & Anna Leckie."
